Fifth Monday Labor Radio Show:  October 30th, 2006!    Tune in for Progressive Perspectives on Social change, Civic Commitment, & Union Solidarity.   Our topic will be:   "Election 2006: Critical Issues"                  co-hosted by Lane Poncy and Tim Flanagan. Tom Chamberlain, *Leslie Frane, & Michael Morrow will join us in the studio to discuss the upcoming election.  Also, a  representative for the Oregon Bus Project  will provide an update.

Nov. 16 - Post-election postmortem: What went right and wrong for working people in last week's local, state and national elections, and what's it mean for the near future? Hosts Ken Allen and Maribeth Healey talk with political consultant Kari Chisholm, and take your calls.
Nov. 20 - Buy Something Day: Four days before the supposed biggest shopping day of the year, host Kevin Card talks about the ethics and practicalities of buying American, buying Union, buying with social and environmental responsibility, and buying nothing. Listener calls encouraged.
Nov. 27 - The All-Powerful Teachers Union: Host Don McIntosh interviews Portland Association of Teachers president Jeff Miller about underfunding, overtesting, privatizing, pay-for-performance schemes, and the influence of conservative private foundations on public education.
